Namadgi National Park occupies a large fraction of the southern two thirds of the Australian Capital Territory. The higher peaks are covered in snow during winter, and many of the valleys feature grassy frost hollows.
Note that camping is restricted in the parts of the park that form the catchment of the Cotter River.
